In many cases, I have retouched the photos using Adobe Photoshop to conceal stains and cracks. In a few cases, the photos were too damaged to restore. I left most of the older ones in their yellowed or brownish state. These all can be successfully printed in black and white if you print them out grayscale. If you print them out standard black and white, you may lose the middle gray tones.
